Hi everyone, I am Curt, and I believe leadership matters. Unleashing human potential is the goal. Great leaders guide the way for individuals and organizations to flourish. Having done HR work for thirty years and having served in C-level executive roles (CHRO and Chief Administrative Officer) for fifteen years, I have witnessed first-hand the power of a ‘leader as coach’ mindset. I chose to become a founding member of the nonprofit Center for Coaching in Organizations (CCO) to help our next generation of leaders grow, embody coaching principles in all of their relationships, and bring the power of coaching to their organizations and the communities they serve. Help people grow, thrive, heal and flourish – that is our work.

When not co-creating CCO with an amazing group of people, I serve as an executive coach for a small portfolio of clients. And more broadly, I am focused on creating a life balance of loving, playing, learning, working, being healthy, and giving back. Having recently retired from corporate America, I am intentionally shifting the arc of my life away from achieving professional and financial success and redirecting my energy and share of mind to creating moments of fulfillment and joy with the people in my life. My enduring love Beth and I (ask me about our marble jar!) live in Stillwater, MN. During warmer months you will most often find me boating on the beautiful St. Croix river with family and friends, and during cooler months snuggled in front of the fireplace with a book and a hot cup of coffee.
